Vacation

After Fathers day I spent a lot of time getting ready for our trip to Utah. Its our first family trip in three years, and the first one with Logan. Wednesday night we drove to Coutts, and stayed there the night. It was nice to cut off three hours from our fifteen hour trip. We thought we could get some sleep and take off early. Well Logan had other plans. he was up until 2:30am teething. I stayed up with him, but Cam didn't get to sleep either. Luckily the trip down we both got some sleep and it was actually really fun. The boys were both in great moods, we sang and danced, ate junk, slept, watched some movies, read books, ate more junk, played with toys and over all it was great. For lunch we stopped at a park in Idaho Falls and they were crazy kids. They didn't even want their lunch. They got out and didn't stop moving until we got back into the car. We got to Jamie and Jamies around 6 and the boys were more then happy to go play in the backyard. While we were there we got to meet Brynnlee who is only two months old. CUTEST GIRL EVER! We went into Salt Lake City for the day on Saturday and it was 40 degrees outside.. UGH (Thats Celsius). I wanted to melt. Sunday was Brynn's baby blessing and it was a blast meeting people and hanging out in wonderful air conditioning. As it was again... 40 degrees out. Monday was Independence day so we went to go watch the parade and check out the vendors. Carter bawled his way through the parade, so I wasn't sad to see it end. He loved going through the vendors though. They had a ton of blow up play things and he had a blast on those. Best part of the whole day? Taco salad... drool. When we weren't out party like we were 19 yrs old (ha) we were outside playing in the water, blowing up fireworks and having a great time.
We wish we could have stayed longer, but we both had work to come home to. Is it sad that Im ready for another vacation????
The trip home we did the 15 hours in one go... NEVER. AGAIN............
